Backstory...
Born aboard a small boat just beyond the shores of Coco Beach, Oriana entered the world surrounded by the endless ocean. Before she was born, her father was one of the many lost during the Great War. While most accepted his fate as one of countless tragedies from that dark chapter of history, Ori never could. As a cub, she was plagued by vivid dreams of her father sailing across a strange and unfamiliar ocean, endlessly searching for his way home. The dreams felt so real that she became convinced there was more to the story than anyone knew. No matter how many times her mother gently told her to let go, Ori refused to believe the story was over.
Growing up...
Determined to find answers, Ori dedicated herself to becoming a captain. She studied navigation, sailing, weather, and cartography, learning everything she could about life on the open sea. The journey was far from easy. Years of training, hard work, and persistence eventually earned her the title she had spent her life pursuing. Yet becoming a captain was only half the battle. To explore distant waters, she needed the approval of the Private Island Council. Knowing they would never support a voyage based on childhood dreams, Ori presented her plans as an expedition to discover new resources, trade opportunities, and potential allies that could benefit the entire Lazy Lions Pride. The council approved her request, unaware that her true mission lay far beyond commerce and exploration.

Today, Captain Ori commands the Moana, sailing across uncharted waters with her loyal crew of adventurers and dreamers. Alongside her faithful parrot, Po, she explores distant islands, establishes trade routes, and returns home with stories, supplies, and discoveries that benefit both Coco Island and the greater Lazy Lions Pride. To most, she is a respected explorer whose voyages help strengthen connections between distant shores and uncover opportunities for the future.
Only Captain Ori knows that every expedition serves another purpose. Behind every new map, every rumor, and every horizon crossed lies the same unanswered question that has guided her since childhood. Though years have passed and evidence remains scarce, she refuses to abandon hope. Somewhere beyond the known world, she believes the truth about her father's disappearance is waiting to be found. Until then, she will continue chasing the horizon, searching for answers that everyone else believes were lost long ago.
