Backstory...
Born and raised on Coco Island, Chante was known from an early age for her fierce spirit and fiery temper. She was brave, determined, and fiercely protective of those she cared about, but her emotions often burned hotter than her judgment. Quick to jump into a fight and stubborn when challenged, she earned a reputation as one of the island's most difficult cubs to keep out of trouble. While many saw only her temper, Skittles saw something else beneath the surface—courage, loyalty, and the qualities of a future leader. Believing her fire could become a strength rather than a weakness, Skittles took Chante under her wing and began teaching her that true protection requires more than a sword and shield. A protector must also nurture growth, maintain balance, and preserve the beauty around them.
Growing up...
As she grew older, Chante dedicated herself to mastering both her body and her mind. She trained relentlessly in combat while learning patience, responsibility, and respect for the island she called home. During her explorations of Coco Island, she developed a deep appreciation for the connection between healthy land, healthy oceans, and a thriving community. It was through this perspective that she discovered the many uses of cannabis and hemp, becoming fascinated by the plant's versatility and potential. To Chante, sustainability wasn't just about protecting nature—it was about creating a future where Coco Island could remain strong, resilient, and self-sufficient. Over time, the same fire that once caused trouble became the force that drove her to protect what she loved.
Currently...
Today, Chante serves as one of Coco Pride's leaders alongside Cybele, Lucy, and Flora. From the Speakeasy Shipwreck at the edge of Coco Beach, she helps guide the community while continuing to train for whatever challenges may threaten Coco Island. Though her temper still occasionally flares, she has learned to channel her passion into action rather than conflict. She leads Coco Pride's beach cleanups, encourages sustainable living, and works to preserve the island's natural beauty for future generations. Whether she's preparing for battle, organizing a cleanup, or helping her fellow islanders, Chante believes that true strength isn't measured by what you can conquer—it's measured by what you're willing to protect.
