The BUOY-LOON was handcrafted using shells and recovered materials collected during our Kahuku Beach cleanups. Featuring a bright orange seahorse floating beneath a buoy like a balloon, tethered with real fishnet cord, this playful canvas turns an everyday piece of marine debris into a whimsical conversation starter.

Seahorses spend much of their lives anchored to coral, seagrass, and other underwater structures with their prehensile tails. As these habitats decline and marine debris increases, finding safe places to live becomes more difficult. BUOY-LOON is a playful reminder that our oceans are healthiest when wildlife holds on to nature—not our trash.

Because every cleanup uncovers something different, no two BUOY-LOONS are ever exactly alike.
